Visa Support

Visa Support Application Starts April 3, 2023

Citizens of certain countries are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan. Please check the following website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) to know if you need to obtain a visa and the visa application procedures.

Conditions for eligibility for visa support

Please note that visa support is only available to those who meet the following condition:

  • - Who has registered and paid for the conference

Number of days of stay to be supported

A maximum of 9 days between July 1, 2023 and July 9 2023 (9 days are including arrival and departure days (2 days) and the period of he AIED2023 (5 days)).

How to apply visa support

If you wish to obtain visa support documents from the conference, please submit a visa support application form and copy of passport to the following visa support office below by June 7, 2023.
The visa support application form can be downloaded from the "Visa support application form" button on the main menu of your registered account after your registration is complete.
When sending us a copy of your passport, please be sure the following points.

  • * A copy of the page with the photo is uploaded.
  • * Your passport is valid.
  • * Passport must be of the nationality indicated on the visa support application.
  • * If you are also applying for a visa for accompanying persons, you must also send a copy of their passport.
Important Notes:
  • *If you are unable to obtain a visa and cancel your conference registration, the AIED2023 cancellation policy will still apply.
  • *AIED2023 Organizing Committee will issue visa support documents, but this does not guarantee that you will receive a visa.
  • *If you need an Invitation Letter to submit to your organization, please contact the Visa Support Office. This Invitation Letter is not for visa support.
