Over the last 10 years, Knewton has built an adaptive learning platform reaching hundreds of thousands of students through worldwide partnerships with educational providers. More recently, building on this experience, Knewton has developed its own courseware product, alta, to bring adaptive learning in a usable, general, and effective form into higher ed classrooms. Alta integrates content, adaptivity, and a real-time proficiency model into an adaptive homework, review, and instructor analytics experience.
