The CORE 2023 rankings have just been uploaded and can be accessed at portal.core.edu.au/conf-ranks. AIED conference was on the review list to retain the current rank. A team of 9 members of the IAIED society led by Vania Dimitrova (president at the submission time) prepared the documentation and the goal was achieved! AIED is ranked A also in CORE 2023 (keeping the same ranking since CORE started to rank conferences in 2008). The CORE Conference Ranking provides assessments of major conferences in the computing disciplines. The percentage of A/A* conferences remains in the 20-25% band, thus making AIED conference relevancy arguably equivalent to Q1 journals in importance.
